After joining and reading posts in a UK makeup Facebook group, I decided to give in and buy Morphe’s Jaclyn Hill palette. There were a lot of people recommending and giving positive feedback about this. I visited the official website of Morphe (I’m not certain if they have a UK physical store but you can actually order online through their UK website) and found out that some items were on sale! So, I immediately searched for the Jaclyn Hill palette and clicked it. Then I checked out the items on sale. A liquid lipstick has caught my interest. From £12, it’s been reduced for £8! I got the shade called ‘Suspect’, sounds dodgy but it’s really nice! Check my next post for that. When I checked out, I searched for discount codes (I always do this before buying anything online, cheeky!), found dupethat and it worked! I’m not sure until when this code works but worth a try. I got a 10% off from my purchase.
I ordered around 11PM on a Sunday and my parcel was delivered Wednesday. That wasn’t bad at all and I got a free shipping on that. The courier was DPD. Both items were inside a big box with loads of bubble wraps in it, to be sure there won’t be damages, especially on the palette. I like the packaging. It’s not in a plastic container but a cardboard-ish. It has a ‘magnetic clasp’ when you close the palette. Nice and sleek.
See below photos for the swatches, this is according to the arrangement of colours in the palette:
To be honest, I’m in love. This palette is really that good! I’ve tried Urban Decay Naked, and I can say Morphe is a lot better. It has better pigmentation and the colours are really nice! It’s good for beginners because of the variety of colours to play with. Do I recommend Morphe? Definitely! The Jaclyn Hill palette is worth every penny. No regrets at all.
