My Beauty Box Experience: Glossybox June 2017

Here is another post, long overdue I know! I was quite busy with other activities these past few weeks so I haven’t completed this. Anyways, here is another Glossybox post.

I only got a discount on my May box. As for my June issue, the original price of £13.25 has been paid. When you are purchasing your first box, make sure to search for promotional codes so you can get a discount.

The Box

I received the usual outer packaging, neat and clean. Don’t throw it away as you can still re-use it. Actually, I’ve used this box to send a small parcel to my sister in Germany.

The items of my June Box were carefully packed and secured with a black ribbon. I really love how Glossybox pack their boxes.

When I was unwrapping the box, I was quite surprised to see a really BIG item!

Inside the Box

Most of the products I’ve received were in big sizes! How fantastic is that? I’m wondering if Glossybox is still making a profit out of this.

1. Sleek Makeup Power Plump Lip Crayon (RRP £5.50)

I received the notorious nude color.
I already have a lot of lippies. But this is my first nude color and a bit excited to try this on. I hope it lasts long!

2. 111 Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel (RRP £110)
This item claims to be the most luxurious eye product in the market. It minimizes puffiness, reduces the appearance of fine lines and dark circle. Well, this sounds promising.
Unfortunately, I’m not in a need of such product at this time.

3. Manna Kadar Cosmetics  Sheer Glo (RRP £22.50)
This is an illuminator that can be mixed with your daily foundation for a dewier look.
I have this Revlon Nearly Naked liquid foundation before. It is a very light foundation that will give you a glowing result. Unfortunately, it was discontinued. So, I had to switch to their matte foundation. But with this illuminator, I might be able to achieve the dewy look again.

4. Batiste Stylist Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray (RRP £4.29)
This hair volume spray has Keratin and Inca Inchi oil that will strengthen and at the same time nourishes your hair locks.
I was very surprised to see this BIG Batiste spray! I will surely be using this one.

5. Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash (RRP £3.29)
This face wash has 100% herbal actives. This product claims to help prevent pimples.
I’m going to use this one. I still have my last month’s Unani milk cleanser, but I would be giving this Himalaya wash a try.

6. Beauty Pro Black Diamond Black Peel Off Mask (RRP £4.95)
This product is a black peel off mask (with activated charcoal). It loosens blackheads and cleanses the pores.
I was actually in a search for a good activated charcoal face mask. I’m definitely going to give this a try.

My Thoughts

This is my 2nd Glossybox, and I’m still loving the items! To be honest, this box has bigger items compared to Birchbox. And the June issue is just perfect for summer. The Manna sheer glo, Batiste hair spray, Sleek lip crayon and Beauty Pro mask are a winner for me. I think on my June box issue, I got the items on a bargain!

Shall I buy the July box? Unfortunately, I’ve got enough items already. But I might come back in the next few months.

By the way, I’m trying a different one which is My Little Box. Stay tuned!
