This is another must-have in my list. Instead of using fingertips in applying liquid foundation, sponge blenders give better results. It’s smoother and has a nice finish. I was in Debenhams when I spotted this NYX sponge blender. I know NYX is a good quality brand, so I decided to purchase it. By the way, I’ve been using Primark’s sponge blender. It’s good and cheap. But when I used NYX blender, I realised I made the right choice in switching.
Primark’s PS 2PK blender costs £1.50. It comes with 2 sponges but I only used the green blue one.
NYX black blender costs £7. The texture is still like of a sponge but you can feel there’s a difference compared to Primark’s. It comes in a plastic box.
Here is the photo comparison of the 2 sponges that has been used for 1 week. The Primark blender has absorbed so much liquid foundation. However, the NYX blender has only a few bits of foundation in it.
I can say that a lot of liquid foundation has just been absorbed in the Primark’s sponge compared to NYX’s. That means I’ve been wasting a lot of foundation when I was using the former.
I’ve switched to my NYX sponge and I’m loving it! By the way, the sponge can be cleaned by washing so I think it will last me for a while.
