If there is a last minute food shopping, there is also a ‘last minute cleaning’. You’d want your house to be presentable to the guests and for them to feel comfortable.
I’ve already washed up the sofa covers and other things a few weeks ago after the house renovation has been completed. However, I’d like the throws to smell really nice on Christmas day so washing them all up again today. I’m going to wash everything I can wash today.
The plates, serving dishes and other things will be taken out of the cupboard and cleaned as well. The dining room will be finalised tomorrow and all unnecessary things will be put away in the cupboard.
Too many things to do when you’re hosting a Christmas dinner. But at the end of the day, the main thing is to spend time, enjoy the dinner with loved ones, and be happy.
