My brow pencil is running out, I have a really good excuse to buy a new one or explore another product. Instead of sticking to my usual Revlon ColorStay brow pencil, I thought to go for a brow mascara since I’ve never tried it before.
I settled for NYX Tinted Brow Mascara. The SRP is £7.00 but I got this for free for using my accumulated Boots points. Not too bad, eh. One of the best things in life is FREE.
The product is 6.5 mL. The shade of my brow mascara is Espresso which I think is perfect for my tone. It has a before and after photos on the back of the box so you can see how the product looks when applied to your brows.
The wand is smaller than the usual lash mascara but it seems to do the job. The application is very simple which is to apply directly to your clean brows.
The NYX tinted brow mascara is perfect for daily use. It fills and follows the shape of your brows. If you’re not too bothered on creating a perfect shape, I’d say this is a good choice. But if you wanted the perfect shape you can still use your brow mascara to fill in the gaps alongside other tools such as the pencil, brush to create the perfect shape.
One of the advantages for using this brow mascara is it’s waterproof and smudge-proof. And, I think, my brows looks natural. The photo below was taken after work. I’ve used the product for a good 12 hours and it is still intact.
So far, I love it! Will I buy again? Definitely because kilay is life.
